It's been a while since I've done a blog. Reason being is that I've been slowly working on doing posters for my shapes and setting up a store. With that said, I pretty much just kinda threw this look together. I like it. I've been shying away from the good girl and trying new things and looks as of late. The dress is from Plastik and I loved the cut and length. I wanted a bold color so I chose red. I topped it off with a jacket from Karma (random find in my inventory). I added J's shoes, sunglasses, and a bangle to complete the look.

On a recent trip to Apple May I bought an outfit called Because, just released today. Well I wasn't feeling much like wearing a skirt so I opted for capris to go with the top from the Because outfit. Minimal accessories were added a simple necklace and belt. I added a pair of SOREAL sneaks to keep it casual and some funky hair. Also I purchased a pre-release of the Gen 2 skins from Atomic. These skins look fantastic and I'm loving the make-up look with these new skins.

Crash Couture just underwent an emergency relocation and is back with even more. Brookemaree has just released new skirts. Yes, I said new! Even better is that she's got more new items coming soon. I put this outfit together based on the skirt I purchased and I'm happy with the look. Also be sure to check out the sim in which Crash Couture is located. Brooke's been hard at work to complete. Crash Couture has officially reopened it's main store. I stopped by there after getting a group notice. The group is free to join and you get exclusive group only gifts and a heads up about new merchandise coming and first looks before it hits the stores. Brookemaree GossipGirl not only makes clothes for girls and boys but she's branched out and into making skins. The outfit pictured is one of latest releases and for a stellar 99L you receive a whole outfit (if she doesn't carry the items in her store she includes a Style card complete with landmarks to help you achieve the look pictured.) I had part of items in my inventory that came on the Style card and improvised on the rest. Also set out are two female and male bags (one priced at 1L, the other 10L).

I decided today that I wanted more bohemian inspired clothing. So I turned my pals on plurk for more places than what I had been to. They gave me a number of great places to try. Ultimately, I ended up at So Many Styles. The affordability of SMS made it easy for my to find pieces that would work well with my existing wardrobe and add a little something extra. I chose to keep the outfit in a monochromatic with brown and beige as my colors. I loved the cut the skirt which made me even more eager to wear the skirt and put an outfit together. Lately I've been exploring and coming across different places. I've also been experimenting with lots of different looks. When I started putting together this outfit I had no idea what I wanted. The only thing I knew that was that I wanted something completely different from my normal look. I've found that I enjoy changing up my look and experimenting. It adds more variety to my SL experience and the fact that it's so easy to change my look from minute to the next has been a major encouragement in the experimentation.

This outfit was built around the dress pictured. A newer release from Digit Darkes. I'm a lover of the color pink and found I was drawn to this dress when I saw it in store but couldn't figure out how I wanted to wear it. I'm a firm believer in if you show skin up top then you cover your legs to add to the allure of you. So I added jeans and boots to tame the look a bit.

The recent acquisition of my new sunglasses inspired this outfit. I simply added jeans, heels, a long sleeve shirt and a graphic tee to help layer. Keri Russell Sundance Look

Obviously, I like Keri Russell's style. It's pulled together, stylish and relaxed all at the same time. Her look from Sundance is what inspired me. I've grown quite fond of hats and scarves as of lately so this was a nice change from my everyday look. Anyhow, this look is actually something I would wear in real life too. The outfit is easy on the eyes and not overpowering another thing I like. I decided to accessorize a little bit with my version. I added glasses, a cuff and ring to add more to this look and splashes of color. Lilac Dreams

With the cold weather here, I felt the need to wear a cute coat. I got this coat with a gift card I received at Christmas. I picked the lilac color because it reminds me of Spring. I can't wait for Spring! Hurry up and get here! I added jeans, leg warmers and heels. The leg warmers I bought at the same as the jacket and they have color change bows on them, you can also change the size to fit by just clicking on the leg warmer itself.

I found this blue trench coat from Aoahru deep in the trenches and knew I wanted to wear it but with what I asked myself. Back in my closet I went finding this black mini dress and necklace from Canimal. I topped outfit off with my newest acquistion, my Stiletto Moody Bitch Booties. It was love at first sight with these beauties.

For the love of Ivalde!

With the new year around the corner, I decided I would clean my closet and start fresh with room for the new things I'm sure to amass in the next year. I've already begun to get new items in anticipation for the new year. This dress is one item that I got from Ivalde, it's one of the advent gifts (best one so far!). So glad to get this as it has become my favorite dress from Ivalde. The baby doll cut and the simplicity of it being black and white are what appeals the most to me. The baby doll cut is flattering on every figure which is pretty much a staple in my wardrobe. Ivalde caters to those of us who like vintage but want to add our own flare.

I'm also showcasing my new skin from Redgrave, Vivian. I just loved the look and felt simply fabulous when I slipped this beauty on at Redgrave earlier today. I immediately decided this would be my new skin.

I topped off the dress with a necklace and shoes also from Redgrave and one of the new release hairs from MMS.

Mermaid for a day

I recieved a TP earlier today from my friend and sl big sis Des. She began telling me about the mermaid world. Curious I followed the tp. This teleport took me to a mermaid shop that sold tails and there were also booths that had various other items such as AOs and furniture. The detailing on these tails were great, not to mention the fact that it's clothing layers and not prim tails which allows you to wear other items.

This new environment was a nice break away all the obnoxiousness you can find in SL. If you are interested in exploring SL and finding out what else is out there I suggest that you check it out. There's a mermaid temple and everything. There's plenty of photo ops and random things under the water. It gives you the chance to ponder or even clean on your inventory as Des has said. To pay homage to an awesome friend, Babyhoney Bailey, I decided I wanted to blog about the shirts she made and the hair that is named after her.

This hair is from Truth and named Babyhoney. I love the look of this hair. The hat changes color so you can adjust it to fit any outfit. The shirts are from GBL and comes in 20 different colors! For a bargain price of 100L for the fatpack. These shirts were released about 1 am SLT. When I saw this jacket at Malt, I knew I had to buy it. So I did just that. I couldn't decide on what to wear today. So I began going through my inventory and started piecing things together. The jacket was the first thing I put on and I knew it was what I was going to wear today. Next I needed pants or a skirt. I'll tell you one thing if my closet in real life was like my Secondlife one I'd be in a world of trouble because it would be busting at the seams. Anyhow, I began looking and came across my Emery black pants which I knew would look great with my jacket. I topped it off with some boots, earrings and a ring (from GBL, just released). I do have to say I'm quite proud of this look.

On a trip to MG Fashions I picked up this beige tunic which I loved. To accessorize I chose to keep them minimal because I wanted the focus of my look to be the dress. I chose wood earrings and a wide gold bracelet. I finished them off with my a pair of my favorite pumps in brown. So today is my real life birthday and I turned 24. Woot. I decided I wanted to keep things simple today. So I opted for a black knitted sweater, denim pants and boots.

Now I must say I have some amazing friends in world. Lauryn and James being as awesome as they are sent me gifts, which I wasn't expecting. They are such awesome friends and people and I am so blessed to have them. Lauryn got me boots which are pink and black/grey which I love and James sent me a pink flower corsage which looked great against the black sweater I chose and it matched the boots! For those who know me, they know how much I love pink. :P

Black and White Ball

I had the pleasure of being invited to the Black and White Ball at Rumour in Crush Row, which excited me because I love an excuse to get all dolled up and fancy. Leave it to me though to get confused on the days and almost miss it. Lucky for me I've got several people to remind me. So the hunt for the perfect dress started. I also needed a mask which I found an amazing one at House of Nyla. Crush Row has a location right in their shopping district.

With the task of the mask out of the way I focused on the dress. For this I called upon my dear friend and one of my besties, Lauryn Arado, I knew she would have a good idea of where to find a dress as all my attempts to find something failed horribly. With this we went to Baiastice where I found the perfect dress. It was the Marlene dress and I absolutely loved it. The dress came with a hat(not pictured) and two options long pants or short ones. I went for the short because let's face it a girls gotta show a little skin and play up the features she likes at the moment. I finished the outfit off with S.Olbers heels called Gala in Black. The black lace made me feel sexy and I was excited to showcase my new dress. To tie everything else together I opted for the O'Hara hair from MMS. They have amazing hair, definitely worth checking out.

Just to let you know, if you weren't at the Black and White Ball hosted by the lovely Babyhoney Bailey, you missed out on lots of great fun, music supplied by Twisted Vendetta and Damon Dollinger, and fantastic prizes. I won the Enalya Collection from Punch Drunk which I had been eyeing since I saw they were released so that thrilled me to death. I also brought with me Lauryn Arado and Caileigh Magic to join in the fun and we had a blast.

For some reason pink always makes me feel pretty and flirty as well. I was on the search for something knit and pretty. The problem I had was that I didn't know what I actually looking for. My first stop was Ce Cubic Effect where I found this pretty pink knit dress. I decided to pair it with items already in my inventory. The shoes I found while actually cleaning my inventory and was a great find. I couldn't remember when I got them but was excited to find them tucked away (I believe it was on a shopping trip with Em that I bought these).

The ring I added is from GBL which just happened to be released the other day and are quite lovely. Babyhoney Bailey has an amazing store so make sure to check it out at Crush Row and pick up these beauties.

Who would have thought I'd actually make a blog? Not me that's for sure. Many people have told me that I should. So I actually listened and did. On a recent shopping expedition I came across a shop called Von Ducky.

This store had several great finds for me. The purchase of my Vesty! Tee was the start of what would become a new outfit. I also purchased a set of jewelry from there that included bangles and earrings. The bangles are pictured as well. This outfit for me had an emo/punk feel and so it became the theme. I paired it with my favorite shoes which just happen to Porn Stars with the abundance of options on these shoes they were hard resist. The finishing of this outfit came with the hair a favorite of mine and jeans.
